I respect your decisions with your teaching to your children and as an atheist myself, my question/concern would be if your children are taugh Judaism and you're teaching them to question everything, that (depending on the age I guess) could be very confusing to children.

Well silly, you need that extra stuff for windows so they know what you're printing so they can advertise correctly to you. Think of the corporations!!
