The people in power actually taking climate change seriously, and not just in a tragedy of the commons type of way. I mean actually working together to slow it down or reverse it.

Tripped and dropped a box, worth approximately $220,000 today, of extremely precise tooling meant for a cutting die. I was on my way to my bench to wrap them up safely. Boss was not pleased that day.

Someone with one brain cell and a shred of morality would re-home the dog first. At least try too. Growing up near farmers it wasn't uncommon for them to give someone else a dog when that dog was a bad farm dog but could be a family dog. I've known farmers and they don't act like Governor Noem.

C'mon I'm smarter than that, my password isn't 1234. It's 1235, what do you think I am, an idiot?

Adding to that, Stanley Tumblers have become the latest status symbol for children as well as adults. So it's not uncommon for a child to get bullied because their water bottle isn't a Stanley Tumbler.

A forklift licenses mean practically nothing. I've seen grown men who have been on a forklift their whole lives make stupid mistakes over and over while kids a fraction of their age without a license can flip dimes.

I worked in a department store when I was a teenager. My favorite was when people came in looking for a video game console days after it released and ask you to look in the back because maybe one fell between some skids or something. Like Buddy, if we had one to sell we'd have sold it. Those things go right into a cage once their received. Ain't no one losing track of them, they literally print money for the store. A lot of people just assume retail workers are all incompetent.

Adding in edit: although sometimes it ended up with the customer screaming at us, it was always great to ask them if they really thought they were the first person today to come up with that idea. For a moment before they yell again they look dumbfounded. Worth it!

Just my two cents, he's a textbook narcissist. Would he accept responsibility, no. Is his ego so big he thinks he can actually start WWIII and nuclear armageddon, absolutely. Add a dose of kompromat et vois la, Elon Musk is now sympathetic to Russia.

Also freedom of speech is between your government and you. Your government can't censor speech, private companies, individuals, organizations, ect, can censor your speech or censor themselves from hearing it. All rights are only between an individual and their government.

Been here for a month, I've noticed that my anxiety levels have dropped significantly. I think it's because I am not an American and on Reddit I didn't realize how much American politics I was consuming just reading comments. Here I just haven't subscribed to American focused subs. It's nice.
