Dowel running the length of it right down through the handle. Used string to compress the foam. Fed it into the tube and unwound so the foam expanded to wedge it in there so the tube can be replaced.

Next time I babysit I'm going to dominate the swordfighting... Once he admits defeat he can keep the sword

Carved and painted this out of some old pine boards I harvested from an old bedframes.

Tiki torch canister sits inside to provide the flame.

As per the title... first post since the death of the RIF. This is the last thing I made and am keen to give this Lemmy thing a whirl so I hope this post works ok!

Look forward to seeing what woodworkers here have to share!
