It depends on the form of employee ownership as to whether it works out for the employees.

In trucking, the industry uses the owner-operator model as a way to push costs onto employees and skirt labor laws. On paper, the truckers are their own bosses. In reality, they are effectively employees of logistics companies where the logistics companies can pay their employees less than minimum wage and push maintenance costs onto their employees.

In this case, ownership is used as a tool of oppression.

Tankie mods on world are criticized for being too tankie in moderation.

Admins try to address this by forcing mods to argue instead of immediately ban if something is posted against their beliefs.

A non-tankie mod thinks it is bullshit that they have to engage in every online argument in good faith and takes their subs (I know this isn't the official term but it communicates the idea) dark in protest.

I think she starts with the pundit route first, taking on less and less prestigious media outlets.

Then she releases a sex tape and tries to build a reality TV career.

As others said, with as w/ was around as part of secretarial shorthand, which got taught to most people keeping corporate documentation and it stuck.

There are a lot of abbreviations like that in the English language that came from abbreviations in written form due to the media in was written in, whether it was newspapers, telegraph, handwritten shorthand, or computer based. It may not make sense because English isn't a language designed to make sense; it isn't even designed.

It looks like the beginnings of a plan to build out a commuter rail system for Atlanta that integrates with MARTA and uses existing right-of-way.

As some instances grow, server costs are becoming significant. Right now, servers are only funded through donations. Do you see the development of anything else to help fund server costs?

The damning part of the interview is that RiF effectively already had a profit sharing agreement with Reddit that was cancelled under the current CEO.

So Reddit was already in the process of getting money from third party apps until Spez cancelled the agreement. Now Spez wants to pretend that he is only trying to get compensated rather than killing the apps.
