Yea, I'm still using the openAI one and I'm very surprised google can't match it, with the reams of data it collects and has stored over decades. There is something between model design and data quantity that openAI got right and I'm not sure exactly what it was, but I need to find a better name for it than "data cleaning" or "hyperparameter tuning".

If you can actually write in the command line (this happened to me too, but I couldn't actually log in to use the command line), try the command startx to start the graphical environment...or whatever is the equivalent command for the environment you installed.

isn't XMPP what you're asking for? I'm not a user, but I'm aware that these things exist, they just don't catch on because it's a nightmare to do federation and security all at once. Probably it will take some form of federated authentication ID, but then you have the problem of who manages that......
