This is one of the primary reasons I use captions. I do not and never will have the equipment necessary to maximize the audio experience. Even if I did, I think I'd still struggle for many other reasons.

So captions it is. I feel lost without them if they are missing. I very regularly look at them to catch missed words and such. They also reveal a lot I would not have never heard in the first place anyway. My kids grew up with them and also get irritated when captions aren't available. You just sort of come to rely on them without realizing it.

I see. Very unfortunate. Racism is complicated and more deeply rooted the most will realize and accept. What he said isn't okay and never will be. I hope he's grown since then and made amends for his mistakes.

I'll believe it when I see it. These so called governments have pervasively done this and will continue to. People, already destitute, having the very little they have crushed and ruined, are left to rebuild again from the broken bricks as the cycle continues. Hindustan is a broken nation, rife with corruption. They could be so much more, but continue to perpetuate one atrocity after another.

Take care of your people. Stop crushing them. Learn love, tolerance, and cooperation. End the violence, discrimination, and worse.

Anti-science misinformation is something that affects my relationships with numerous people in my life.

Empathy and patience seem to be the only response that has any positive impact, but it simply isn't enough to combat the massive amount of indoctrination driving these beliefs.

Ugh. It's so frustrating and I feel helpless so often. And things just seem to get worse. 😭
