I think the fact that many countries are mad about the DPRK having nukes probably plays a role. Also the sanctions against the DPRK have not been as effective and they haven't been in full force for as long and I would guess that has an effect. Lastly Cuba is culturally western and majority white I would not be surprised at all if that has a significant effect on how sympathetic people in the west are towards them.

I think people tend to think of and speak of genocide withing its legal context and for that israel is its own sovereign nation. And I doubt the distinction makes any actual difference i dont think supplying the weapons, intelligence, money, and political support for genocide is any less of a wrong in most peoples minds than actually doing it.

I can not believe u just made me read several long ass articles about a woman who was salty she got cheated on and decided to take revenge by having her ex kicked from psl. Like even IF literally everything she said was true i dont think he even did anything illegal (tho certainly enough to get kicked from an org) but there is no evidence at all that anything is true, u and every article makes it sound like this guy is beyond any doubt a rapists, like its just like any other scandal of a rape coverup we have heard about, but its literally just her voice against his and there is no reason at all to believe either, and i (and i hope everyone else) am not inclined to treat someone as one of the worst kinds of people there are just because someone said so.

The machine increases the exploitation of the worker by reducing the amount of labor hours it takes to make a thing.

For a simple example suppose holes in the ground have a value, if a capitalist pays a worker to dig holes and the worker can dig 1 hole an hour with a shovel but 2 with an excavator then while paying for the same 1 hour of work the worker will create twice the value for the capitalist.

But really the distinction is mostly semantic and it doesn't matter much whether Marx was right and the machines create no value or some other economists were right and it takes machines/tools as well as labor to create value hardly matter because either way the capitalist brings nothing to the table.
