I've seen the sentiment multiple times that people think "this is a white issue". If it were just a white issue, then why has it mainly been Latin American people being abducted? Who does the myriad violations of human rights affect? Just white people? No***!*** I've seen the argument of "I didn't vote for this so the people who did will have to get upset enough to push for change". Are you thinking about this rationally, or with your emotions? Emotionally you're absolutely justified in being tired of the bullshit and getting out there only to be mistreated, but nothing is going to change unless as many of us as absolutely possible push for change. Think about what is at stake! Please urge all of your friends and family to protest, and be willing to reason with them if they don't want to, because this is an existential threat to all of us!

Ranked choice voting (RCV) — also known as instant runoff voting (IRV) — makes our elections better by allowing voters to rank candidates in order of preference.

RCV is straightforward: Voters have the option to rank candidates in order of preference: first, second, third and so forth. If your first choice doesn’t have a chance to win, your ballot counts for your next choice.

RCV works in all types of elections and supports more representative outcomes. RCV means better choices, better campaigns, and better representation.

Shipments from Asia into Southern California ports have plummeted, meaning the truckers who typically drive those containers to their destination will be out of work soon. Truckers love to protest with a caravan of trucks or by stopping traffic with their trucks. It’s typically pretty effective.

When this happens, people will wake up and start to listen

Let’s all find a way to help them and make something happen. This is it!!

After hearing the news lately from RFK Jr. about him planning to launch the autism study and have "some answers" for autism & treating it as a disease, and hearing that he will send money to compensate for autistic people and their families, as an autistic person myself, I feel SO enraged.

I think that on Mayday, there should be an event for people with autism and their families to protest against the statements that RFK Jr. has made, and to organize perhaps some sit ins and marches on the HHS & perhaps protest outside RFK's house.

I am certain that I am not the only person who feels this way.

I am NOT a burden. I don't need to be compensated. My family doesn't need to be compensated.

And also, we need to write to our representatives telling them to stop this study and to tell RFK Jr. to fuck off.

I am SO angry. I don't have words to describe my anger for RFK and his policies, and I have had enough.

Today, President Donald Trump publicly violated his constitutional oath by declaring on Truth Social: "We cannot give everyone a trial, because to do so would take, without exaggeration, 200 years." This statement explicitly rejects the constitutional right to due process, guaranteed to every individual within U.S. jurisdiction by both the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments.

By openly dismissing a foundational constitutional protection, President Trump has directly betrayed his oath of office, outlined clearly in Article II, Section 1 of the Constitution: to "preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States." The President’s role explicitly requires upholding constitutional principles, not disregarding or circumventing them for expediency or political convenience.

This violation is not merely a policy disagreement or partisan conflict; it is an intentional breach of the fundamental constitutional obligations entrusted to the Presidency. Trump's statement represents an unprecedented threat to the rule of law and undermines the very structure of American democracy. Allowing a President to openly reject constitutional rights sets a dangerous precedent that weakens the foundation of American constitutional governance.

Given the gravity and clarity of this breach, the Constitution itself provides a remedy: removal from office through impeachment. President Trump's explicit rejection of due process rights demonstrates unequivocally that he is unwilling or unable to uphold the Constitution. For the preservation of constitutional integrity, the rule of law, and the fundamental principles upon which the United States is built, President Trump must be removed from office.

I've been protesting with different signs for the last couple of weeks, by far the most successful sign has been: "The Constitution is not optional"

Lots of honks, and thumbs up. It's clear, concise and is broadly acceptable. It doesn't require that you are up-to-date on everything that is happening. It doesn't require understanding anything complicated. When MAGA sees this sign they might shake their head, but they can't disagree with it without giving themselves away.

I love how this phrase gives me the high ground and causes dissenters to think twice.
