I did the exact same thing with the 15 Pro Max and I’m half convinced.. The performance, photos/videos and battery is insane, I’ve never even got a full day on my Samsung, here I did 1,5 days. But that’s probably where the pluses end.
If I compare iOS and Android, iOS is better optimized while Android has much more options. The keyboard was better for me, the control centre had like twice the abilities, mobile hotspot worked every time with my Windows laptop (now it’s like 50/50), calculator had history (why the hell doesn’t this calculator have history?!?) and much more.
Don’t get me wrong, iOS is great and has its own features, but the little things that Android offers and I’ve grown accustomed to makes the whole experience a bit worse…
I think I’ll stay with iOS, especially after going through the torture of manually sending all photos between the phones. Android will always have a special place in my heart though and I will definitely miss it.
