I’ve been using Samsung phones since the first Galaxy released, but decided to switch things up and got myself the iPhone 15 Plus and I’m absolutely loving it so far! the performance is top tier

Good move and congrats! Switched from Android to my iPhone 15 Pro Max and would never go back…phone’s awesome.

Welcome to the Apple World! I am now on my 4th iPhone , 3rd IPad, and 3rd Apple Watch. I know I am totally locked into the Apple system, but I love it, because EVERYTHING WORKS! 😎

Yeah we, not always. Until the 17.1.1 update the battery life on my 13 regular was pretty good. Now it's lousy. I hope the next iOS update fixes it.

But I do like the Keychain with the Apple ecosystem. This is my 9th iPhone and my 4th Apple Watch. Had the Series 3, 5, SE 1 and am on the Series 8 right now.

Nice. Apple?

That is one of the best options you can get in a iphone rn. Battery is a beast. Ive got a 15 base model and already its battery is a huge thing to admire. 15plus is 🔥. Welcome to the club mate

I got my new iPhone recently, upgrade from iPhone 12 mini to 15 pro max. Love it

Wow. I had a 12 Mini. Battery life was abysmal. Traded in to Samsung for the S21+. Traded another phone in to Apple for the 12 Pro. Two great phones with great cameras at the same time. I love photography.

The 15 Pro Max's battery life must be leaps and bounds over the 12 Mini!

Wait until you get an Apple Watch or MacBook/ipad and everything just starts connecting and syncing.

I did the exact same thing with the 15 Pro Max and I’m half convinced.. The performance, photos/videos and battery is insane, I’ve never even got a full day on my Samsung, here I did 1,5 days. But that’s probably where the pluses end.

If I compare iOS and Android, iOS is better optimized while Android has much more options. The keyboard was better for me, the control centre had like twice the abilities, mobile hotspot worked every time with my Windows laptop (now it’s like 50/50), calculator had history (why the hell doesn’t this calculator have history?!?) and much more.

Don’t get me wrong, iOS is great and has its own features, but the little things that Android offers and I’ve grown accustomed to makes the whole experience a bit worse…

I think I’ll stay with iOS, especially after going through the torture of manually sending all photos between the phones. Android will always have a special place in my heart though and I will definitely miss it.

just made the switch myself about a year ago, congratulations!

I too switched to iOS but I'm definitely going back. The phone itself is basic asf to me (14promax). I guess I'm used to alot of features from Samsung that apple doesn't offer.

Because you went from a potato to a fully working phone. The technologies inside iPhones are way better than what’s in android’s.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 10 months ago

Lol that is laughable

I'm soon gonna switch from Android to iOS too! Should I buy the iPhone 15 pro?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 10 months ago

Depends on what you do on your phone

Kind of underrated but if you’re an android user using usb-c already I think the jump to the 15 series of phones is a no brainer.

I’m using the 15 pro at the moment and I use a lot of usb-c gadgets. Currently figuring out how to seamlessly upgrade my 10.5 iPad Pro and AirPods to USB-C.
