What even counts as ai generated under this. Would vocaloids be considered ai generated? I saw a notice under the latest taiko game on steam that mentioned ai generated audio which was referring to vocaloids and other vocal synths.
This article doesn't talk about older gpus though? Its talking about using the V80 fpga from amd, which released in 2024 and costs 10k. Unless I'm misunderstanding something about the article? I do think its a good breakthrough being able to use an fpga like this though.
Why tf is PGP, tesseract ocr, and deepl on this list. Deepl is literally just a machine translation service, users don't post onto it. tesseract ocr is a downloadable software for ocr. PGP is encryption.

Nah, most of the good meta vr tech was from john carmack. Ever since he left the company to do ai stuff, the meta software has gotten worse and worse. There was an issue a month ago where quest headsets were being literally bricked (bootloader errors) from an update and meta had to go and replace all the headsets affected by the bug.

Yeah but I personally don't like seated vr games. If I'm playing a game seated I would rather play on a monitor where I can see the real world.
Acceleration of Suguri 2 has a tutorial that is just 9 pages talking about the games systems telling you about how specific buttons are for what attacks and which button combinations and other stuff, but it never tells you what those buttons actually are, it just says they are the attack A, attack B, dash button, hyper button, super button. It took me an hour of playing the game to figure out what all of the buttons were.

Those words are up for interpretation. Vocal synths and regular synths would make synthesized content in a sense. And they would be provided by music streaming services. Hopefully its more well defined in the actual law.
