That's a nice start.

Thanks for listing it all out!

It is used by just as many healthcare workers too who were the primary driver behind getting them built. Mount Sinai Hospital and Sick Kids strongly opposed Bill 212. It will clog the roads with car traffic and those who continue to cycle will be in danger.

63% of Mount Sinai Hospital staff cycle to work.

Agreesd, Ford is going to push lots of Toronto even further away from the cons with this move. It only pleases the outer suburbs, even though it worsens their commute by forcing more people to drive and add to the car traffic.

The loud minority was shooting Bloor West in the foot. The Bloor West BIA used to oppose bike lanes until they changed their minds after they went in and saw the positive impacts. They are now defending them, backed by several economic impact studies which found that 90% of customers arrived by foot, bicycle, or transit. This is consistent with similar situations around the world.

Turning the bike lane back into roadside parking and short sections of car lanes before the next chokepoint will be bad for business and cost lives.

It is often through neighbourboods or at times of day ourside of rush hour. Even bloor west is car traffic free most of the day.

Sadly, you'll want a /s on that if current events are any indication.

When someone buys a used Tesla, that's one less new Tesla sold = lower Tesla sales numbers, profits, and viability of dealerships. It also devalues the car.

Used car prices have been similar to new in recent years, so devaluing Teslas makes buying used a more attractive option for people who would buy one anyways.

For example, I would also rather have someone who couldn't otherwise afford an EV be buying a cheap, devalued Tesla and slapping a bunch of anti-Musk stickers on it than buying a new gas car.

Another example is I would rather have a MAGA idiot buying a used Tesla and unintentionally denying Musk another new car sale than a gas-guzzling pickup truck.
