Trump has essentially made it possible for fully authoritarian countries to exist with near unchecked power. They existed before, sure, but they were held back by other countries and the US.
US soft power is gone and will take decades to build back, something in my that Republicans have all but assured will not happen unless there is a reckoning. The United States has essentially become an isolationist country within a year of Trump's second term.
