And the followup: Well actually you made a dozen posts? / (anime person pointing at the viewer) / You are still a reply guy / (anime person angrily pointing away) / Get in the sea

I already wouldn't have gone to that country if you paid me. They let any idiot carry a fucking gun.

Don't bother arguing with stupid. They'll drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

No call no show sends a stronger message if you're privileged enough to be able to do that. If not, call in sick. Or go-slow all day. Do what you can.

The copium in the reddit thread is hilarious.

"The issue is that you had a space in your path name"

No, the issue is that the AI wiped an entire drive! 🤣

Way back in the dim and distant past, I played Nethack, and when I got an e-mail, an actual ingame NPC would come up to me and hand me my mail. It was a wonderful touch that let me keep in contact without losing my immersion.

I was wondering if a mod exists for Skyrim that'd let the courier NPC fulfil a similar role? I know a bunch of mods all use the same courier system, but I don't know how hard it is to inject information into Skyrim dynamically (and I don't speak the programming language necessary to write mods, anyway)

I'm thinking ferries that hop from island to island with a 2-4 hour journey time. Do they sleep aboard? Or do they go home after work like the rest of us do?

  • f(1) = 8
  • f(2) = 5.25
  • f(3) = 3.5
  • f(4) ≈ 2.4
  • f(5) ≈ 1.67

And going the other way f(n-1) = (^11^/~7~ f(n) - ^1^/~4~) we get laserdiscs?

  • f(1) = 8
  • f(0) ≈ 12.32

Loving the irony of posting this to a comm whose branding is literal AI slop 🤭

I can't wait until Windows 12, the AI-first operating system, comes out. People will ask Copilot to open the system settings and it'll be like "That's a great place to start! You can open the system settings by asking Windows Copilot to open the system settings!"

Take it from a Brit... It's not about the children. It's never about the children.

We call them "sycophants". They prefer the term "disciples".

I don't know what "rizz" is without looking it up. I understand this means I qualify for a lifetime membership.

If I were you, I wouldn't have let it have internet access in the first place. Try a factory reset and don't let it online, and you'll probably not even notice.

If you are treating your paying customers worse than someone you perceive as stealing from you, you are doing something seriously wrong.
