My tip for those starting away from instant is to get the aeropress as it's a pretty low cost of entry and doesn't take up much space. Get the XL if you need a larger cup. The V60 is affordable as well, but you'll need something to pour the coffee with. Good luck on your journey.

What if you open the phone with a secondary account and allow them to search it without disclosure of the other accounts?

The BYD taxis in China are making me want an electric car more so, but I can't financially justify letting go of a working ICE car.

I qualify a good sequel as a movie that can be enjoyed without having to watch the previous. Not that the previous isn't important, just not required.

Terminator 2 clearly fits into this category. As do a lot of sequels. Here is my short list:

  • Terminator 2
  • The Dark Knight
  • Finding Dory
  • Toy Story 2
  • Spider Man 2 (Toby Maguire)

Do Casino Royal or Rogue One count for anyone?

My Ring app is going crazy the last few weeks about people saying drones are flying around. I'm sure it's normal...

Voyager's got that family feel with the cast that you just enjoy being around.

TNG is best to start after season 1. Not saying season one is bad, but it might be harder to get into for a new comer.

Enterprise is good is you like your uniforms tight.

The original series is great to get a lot of the origin information. I guess it's hard for new comers, but I grew up with it, so has a special accepting place in my heart.

Deep Space 9 is my personal favorite for political sci-fi. However, there is the occasional whatever episode. This is best to watch is order all the way through.

I still think that lower decks and strange new worlds can not be fully enjoyed without some other older trek shown under your belt, but it's only a few episodes so you can finish them both quickly.

I abandoned Discovery after season 2 or 3 (I forget) I hear it got ok later on, but idk.

Picard, just watch season 3. I watched the others and then season 3 came out. I forgot about the others.

More beans and fish. Skip the skin on chicken as well.

There is a video from Lance Hedrick for the aeropress on making old coffee taste passable. I know you can't control the grind size, but try it out if you already have the aeropress handy.

I would vote for running jellyfish off the NAS with powerful hardware Intel 8th Gen and up you should be fine. I personally don't transcode video on my server only audio.

If I'm not sure about a video format working, I'll manually re-encode the video with handbrake to h265 or av1. I also have used handbrake to create lower resolution copies of the same movies to reduce bandwidth needs when roaming on LTE.
