What possible motivation would Chase have to take on this card? Its not like chase already doesn’t have a whole ecosystem of free well regarded credit cards

There will always be a new one around the corner 🤷‍♂️ if you really want one now then go for it.

It’s a notification device for me. I mainly just wear it to work where I need to respond to messages quickly and I might not feel my phone vibrate. Outside of work I don’t really wear it much. Maybe if I go on a run if I remember to wear it.

It's a neat feature but it was never a use case I was clamoring for. it's also a feature that essentially requires the purchase of an accessory (stand), so that makes it harder to buy into it. It's the same reason why the only times I have used the continuity camera have been on accident.

Better late than never I suppose…but it is really baffling why this wasn’t a universal app to begin with. What is the point of all the universal app APIs if Apple can’t be bothered to use them?

iMessage is the reason why apple is such a brand-loyal company and it is why they will never make it cross-platform until some government agency drags them across the finish line kicking and screaming. Love it or hate it (as a longtime iPhone user, I personally think the green/blue bubble discrepancy makes it a bad user experience for both iPhone users AND android), this is the most significant component of apple's walled ecosystem that keeps people from straying away from their garden.
