I think it's important because for the average stream watcher, it's destroying the capitalist myth that wealthy people are somehow really smart and competent and earned their wealth. It's possible that Adrian is a superfan to such an extent that it's made him sick in the head and he basically believes he is Elon Musk, and the tweeting timing is just a coincidence.

It's also possible that having obscene wealth like hundreds of billions of dollars makes you sick in the head, and makes you think you're the smartest person in the room when you're a spoiled rotten nepo baby whose Daddy owned emerald mine slaves in apartheid South Africa and you happened to invest your stolen wealth into the right places while stealing credit for the work of smarter people.

In all honesty, probably not nearly as much as you think. Democrats aren't exactly making any effort to pretend to be against genocide or neocolonialism. They make a tiny bit of lip service towards social progressivism, and considering that Republicans are explicitly pro-trans-genocide, that bar is so low it's currently sitting in hell.
