"Do not under any circumstance..." bounces right of LLMs

I think I have seen versions from the same restaurant but another person sitting calmly. But maybe I am wrong

Epstein was likely embedded into this system as a black mailing agent by someone who already knows it.

The ICE part seems a bit extreme though. I think the whole reason ICE is allowd to act like this is to terrorise immigrants, ethnic minorities etc so they leave the US in their own accord. And what easier way to terrorise people than to stalk their kids like a bunch of pedos.

Don't know what his deal is and why he acted as such but the page is still there as is and it helped inform likely hundereds of thousands of people. Don't know if he had a change of heart but he created something larger than himself so that is fine. Just telling this so that people don't misdirect their anger against wikipedia.

There are flavours of linux that allow you to just click and install compatible file types. You can easily use Ubuntu your whole life without touching the terminal. Using the terminal allows you to do certain things much faster and easier but that is a skill you need to train if you want to use it.

If you are however talking about trying to run an originally windows native game in linux, then that might turn out to be an advanced problem. So you need to be patient and likely try couple different solutions (starting with the most recent dated one and paying attention to version numbers etc). It might even turn out to be impossible. That is an inescapable consequence of using a non main stream OS, not a problem of the OS itself. But given how the gaming world is shifting to linux, that might change in future and windows users (if any) might start complaining about how hard it is to port games to windows.

The problem is this voting power is held by someone just because he/she is the child of someone, not because they can actually wield it responsibly. This is the whole reason monarchy was abolished.

I will take that

If I feel like I am stuck while doing something either discussing it with someone else or doing entirely something else for a while (couple weeks) helps me get out of that local optima.

Money also doesn't help if you surround your self with idiots, look at how Steve Jobs went even after stealing a liver from someone after having wrecked his by rejecting treatment for his curable cancer.

I used sync for a while then once it became sort of dead tried a couple others and settled with boost. The most important factor is that it is the only Lemmy app (that I could find) that orders saved posts according to the time you saved them and not when it was created.

ps: After looking at some of the comments here I checked a couple others and jerboa also does the same

I mean it is not unimaginable that someone with low moral standards may be exaggerating the risks involved to fear monger governments etc to work with them. It is a general distrust of big corporations that make people here skeptical. If companies like meta, google, tesla etc have no reservations about doing extremely shitty and dodgy things and also able to come out of those with net positive effects, why wouldn't this guy? When someone says "corporations should not set defense policy", they don't actually mean setting it on a governmental level. What they mean is that they should not even be able to inform policies because they are likely putting their interest above other ethical considerations.
