NATO formally announced that Ukraine and Georgia would join NATO. NATO was threatening NATO membership until Trump showed up. I know the history, I am not stupid. The Russians are preventing a complete NATO encirclement. Ukraine is a losing war. With military support, Russia would continue to gain more territory, and drain Ukrainian manpower, all under the impression they would eventually join NATO. That is what Zelensky and his elites want, is NATO membership. The conflict is about NATO expansion, end of story.

Aircraft carriers can project sustained power over land by sea. Including supporting ground operations. Chinese are aware of counter measures against incoming projectile threats.

The US is a ruthless power. It dropped nuclear bombs on people. Nuclear testing fallout on their own people without warning; the Manhatten Project exposed 1.7 million Americans to nuclear fsllout. The coups... How the US treats Israel versus Iran, shows you everything. The US is ruthless. The support for war over peace is an example of that ruthlessness.
