The article says Texas paid for it. Reading is fundamental.

Upholding the rule of law makes for a less smelly environment in this case.

They need to teach Confucianism and Friedrich Nietzsche in addition to Christianity. Buddhism too.

What do you mean? US has the most intellectual capital. Your top 100 universities in the world are mostly in the US.

Donald Trump is not a neoliberal. He is a nationalist. However, the US government is so infested with neoliberals, that Trump is likely going to hire neoliberals as advisors, like John Bolton. Donald Trump does not care about expanding NATO. He does not care about the long term NATO plan of expanding Eastward across Europe. That is what makes him different and why voters support him, because they, like him, don't care about expanding NATO. That is what neoliberal elites want, not the American people. Hatred for Russia and for Russians is not an American issue. That maybe what is important to you, but not for everyday Americans. Joe blew his political capital fast by constantly talking about NATO expansion and the various "national security threats" in the world, which is basically everyone. Americans have seen this before.

They should support Cornel West instead. You know, because he criticizes America a lot, he might just be telling the truth. Kamala is not a strong candidate. Joe Biden wasn't a strong candidate. The problem with democrats is they have a neoliberal problem, and I am not talking about the Latin American defined meaning of neoliberalism. This neoliberalism resembles an aspiring global totalitarianism in that it tells people around the world what their politics should be. The problem isn't from other people, from other countries, but Americans seeing this developing totalitarianism, as being anything in America's interests. They don't agree with the neoliberal dreams of the elite. Americans don't want to fight the Russians, the Chinese, the Iranians, the Gazans, the Africans, so, and so on. They want to focus on the home, and that is what Trump is about. Kamala is just Joe Biden 2.0 who won because a panic pandemic hit and damaged the global economy. Following this panic pandemic, the US picks a fight with Russia by threatening to turn Ukraine into a NATO base of operations. Americans don't care about Russia, and Joe Biden, and his group of elites, don't care about Ukraine. You see, the Republicans at least removed the mask of neoliberalism. This political battle is between nationalism and neoliberals, who are infested in the US political system. It doesn't help that the Israel lobby is deeply wedged among others. You don't know why Kamala has no real enthusiasm, is because she is another neoliberal who rather give billions to other countries, funding the death of many people, namely in Gaza, and Ukraine, then propagandize that this is logical and prudent foreign policy, than fixing a border problem.

Neoliberal behavior: billions abroad to support coups, bombs being dropped on hapless people, and expansion of US power, versus spending billions on natural disasters, and other problems that need urgent fixing at home. That is Kamala Harris. Americans are not interested in that. The people who truly care, are sick of the wars the US is involved in. This is why the Bush family was run out of politics. Until democrats on the ground figure that out, they are stuck in the dark about what is really going on in politics in the US, and even in Europe. Instead, they chew the bait of minority issues that are not really issues for most Americans of various backgrounds, or they create phantom threats to justify their irrational politicking. I can see why people not endorse Kamala. Plus, she disqualifies herself. The Atlantic is part of the neoliberal problem in the US politics. Don't count on that publication to remotely be anywhere near the real issues for most Americans, it certainly isn't expanding NATO. Democrats need to fix their neoliberal problem.
