Every generation thinks they are smarter than the previous one and it’s not true: most individuals are ignorant and a minority are smart in every generation, no matter what or how old, but youth gives an exacerbated sense of self-confidence making them believe they can control and know everything. As a user living in Norway, I can say that nothing has changed yet and Meta still does whatever the fuck they want. I use it Facebook from time to time and Facebook still shows me ads related to what I do in an out of Facebook. Even when I use adblockers in all my devices and alternative search engines like Duckduckgo or Ecosia, they still know what are my new interests in and out of facebook and keep showing me personalized ads. I even disabled within facebook to track me outside of facebook. Nothing works for them.

All the internals of one laptop I opened were really covered in oil, the fans were totally stuck and unable to spin (maybe the main reason why they sent it to us) and the whole thing really stank.
