this is correct. however, it’s worth noting that over the years, despite the fact that the 12MP sensor stayed flagship for almost a decade, the Live Photo’s video metadata became higher resolution with every new iPhone generation

You’re going to have a field day on Apple’s Compare iPhone page as there’s been a lot of stuff changed and new features added.
I can’t remember the exact iOS version, maybe 14 or 15, but you’ve been able to set one home screen to display 0 apps and I think it’s nice to let you see your wallpaper clearly.

The last time we had a massive battery gain was with the iPhone 13 lineup. That’s 2 years ago.
The last one before that was the iPhone 11 and it was 4 years ago.
I was hoping Apple would stick to a pattern, but I guess given the slow pace of innovation in the smartphone category, these updates have to be spaced out.
So the 15 Plus and Pro Max models are now on par with each other and now within a margin of error?
