Start with series 3, that's where it was up to speed and you don't miss much

That could be said of a lot of things ... a great concept let down by lazy writing and poor casting. Yet these things get money thrown at them - great effects, lighting, locations, makeup, etc etc

Yeah, that was just what the organisers called it I guess.

I'm aware of that now, but at the time didn't know anything about it ... it was being done in a community space where there was a bar and plenty of space for activities.

Not an obsession, I tuned out of watching Voyager when it was first on TV and I'm partway through a complete watch now ... she's simply my favorite character from the show, and given that Star Trek fans have a pleasant and active community here I thought it was a good choice. Perhaps I was mistaken.

Being interpreted as smug was not my intention, I thought I was simply stating my opinion with equal force to the poster above. How should I have responded?

Nice photo!

Also, I do love the Delta (and the Ebre in general, travelled a lot of it's length this year up in Aragón)

Ah ok, here we just have to pass a roadworthiness test, have proof taxes were paid when it was new, and pay an admin fee. That being said, this is the home of trials and enduro so of course it's easy, lol

Erm, I guess this is one of those cases where words don't translate well between variants of English ... I hardly ever see "station wagons" (estate cars?) here, whereas there's lots of cool lifted hatchbacks around like the Fiat Panda 4x4

I never said you should emulate my life, what I said is that taking up less space would be good for the planet ... you get limited time on this rock, it's going to be a lot more limited for your kids if the food chain collapses.

Heh, when I lived in the UK I travelled 200 miles a few times to go on advanced courses.

It's paid off many times for me, as an example last tuesday I came around a blind bend with a bit of speed to find a big fat boar looking confused in the middle of the road. On the advanced machine handling course I did a few years back we covered emergency swerves at high speed (up to 70mph), and I just went around the back of the boar ... without that training I'd have probably hit square on.

I'm pretty sure that Generation V feeds directly into this, so having watched that would help (it's really good, though I'm not a fan of tying things together too much)
