That's what we call an attention getter!

That's absolutely crazy, here even a main dealer wouldn't charge more than 30€ for fitting (not counting weirdness with pressure sensors, mooses, tubeliss, or stuff like that). Well, maybe Ducati would charge more, but they have a reputation to uphold.

Well, with a dirt bike she'll be able to throw it at the ground with gusto!

Except that OP is in the UK.

While you might want to go in straight lines most of the time being able to handle corners first is a good idea, plus things like emergency brake and swerve techniques to avoid accidents ... the European test only checks if you can emergency brake from 30mph, stopping from 75 with enough technique to feel like your eyeballs are being sucked out of your skull takes practice.

Hell, I remember one American on Reddit who swore up and down that you shouldn't use the front brake to emergency stop - for people who really love motorbikes extra training is a must, and that starts with a small bike you can drop a lot while learning how to use the whole tire and how to handle a bike when the front wheel locks, etc.

Edit: as for your BMW, why not just add a tooth to front sprocket?

Only good for masochists, it'll need a new one of everything from rusted-in brake seals to rusted-in swingarm bearings. And when it's all done you'll be left with a bike that's only slightly better than other featherweights, is completely impractical, and cost the same as a new bike to put together even if it was free.

If you already have another one that runs nicely but needs new plastics, then go for it!

This is a predominantly American Men's thing, as far as I can tell. Many get the biggest bike they can, fail to learn to control it, and then go around chest thumping.

Meanwhile the best rider I know, a professional test rider, spends his weekends teaching Moto Gymkhana on a 125.

AER: Memories of old

It's fun, you play as a woman who can turn into a bird and have to explore, solve basic puzzles, and there's a good story. It's just short and simple.

I'd like to try it, but I don't have a supported device yet ... I've played at least one indie game with a similar feel and really enjoyed it, but it was short and simple so I didn't get lost in the world

On to trials riding season, then

I would be more worried about the tree. It could cause structural problems long after the bear has left.

I read yesterday about the PR that Saudi Arabia and UAE have been doing to work their way up a "trust index", among other things.

There are few, if any, uncorrupted organisations or countries, and I now believe that it is simply human nature to be monstrous. Anything else requires herculean strength or absolute bull-headedness.

When I was young I watched Star Trek as an idealist looks Ng towards a brighter future, now I enjoy it as fantasy. If an interplanetary federation were to exist as it is portrayed, humans would have to be a minority to avoid contamination of ideals and truth.

I do not say the following lightly: in order to make a home where I feel truly comfortable I moved to a different country which is societally more accepting than where I was born.

I hope that your daughter and her friend will have the freedom to find their community and build happy lives. Sometimes that means leaving forever.
