Depends on where you are, where you go, and how you live - a lot of the world lives off less than $10USD a day. Before I moved I was getting by, now I'm financially comfortable despite having much less money.
I really enjoyed the first two seasons, the third was ok with some good bits in it.
Trams are awesome, I've used them quite a bit in Sheffield and Valencia and in both cases they were the best solution where an underground metro wasn't feasible.

Sounds like a good go at adventure, though if you have a KLR there's no excuse for having someone else carry all the stuff, those things are pack mules!
There's also an episode where Quark undergoes gender reassignment in order to close a deal, which is played for laughs and includes lines about women being sensitive because of their hormones. It sticks out because it's just horrible, while she show is generally good.

A suitable metaphor for this would be saying that you didn't enjoy having to start a Model T Ford with a hand crank so you've refused to drive a car ever since. Reminds my of my Grandfather.

When was that? Last time I tried it was a couple of years ago.
As for the difference, outside of Spain the conjugation of Vosotros (you, plural) isn't used, but speaking to strangers is much more formal. Also, there's a lot of vocabulary differences which can be confusing for non-native speakers.
