Are there any fediverse games at all?

Growing up I used to play aqworlds and it was super common in my online friend group at the time for everyone to host their own private servers on their own websites, once I got into the fediverse and webhosting again, I was reminded of it and it got me thinking how cool it would be to have a browser 2d mmo where people hosted their own servers.

Is there a game that implements activityhub at all? Like where server chat can be read and sent from something like mastodon.

I realize this is a stretch and something like this doesn't make sense or exist, just curious.

Corporations might accidentally help if they try to make their own instancss, like if you sign up with google to join the fediverse, realize most instances block googles because its corporate, then they make an account at non corporate version.

I think the best way for it to grow would be making it easy to self host, yunohost maes it pretty easy, but more managed hosting options competing or more of the big ones offering it would go a long way.

Cosmos's lemmy app is outdated and doesn't work, yunohost is the only webclient type thing I've tried that has lemmy and works. Yunohost also has most other services like sharkey, pleroma, peertube, etc. and lets you easily install multiple services on one server with different domains. Only downside is it doesn't have multiserver management like the rest, but the rest have no app support for fediverse stuff outside of mastodon.

If you don't know how to do a lot of the docker stuff yourself, coolify, dokploy, runtipi, etc. aren't really a possibility, they don't work with ansibile, or the easy install without modifications (that idk how to do, I have yet to suceed)

What do you use for torrents, after rarbg died I became dependent on tracker addons

This is dirrectly from the torrents tho? So torrentgalaxy or whatever tracker that torrent came from would be the issue

Ppl think white lighters are bad so you can peel off the sticker and use it that way, no one steals them

Never buy hella lighters just one you're forced to keep track of

Just going to be annoying discussing anything I read online without ppl chiming in about how the author sucks, basically forced to talk about his work in fringe communities that support the author too much

I've read a shitton, these were still reccomended over what ive read, its not like the content isnt the same

At least they cant ban the already created books, I barelt started reading them preaallegations and have been looking forward to them forever, not like they are suddenly going to be bad after being reccomended them 100s of times

It really should bring over top posts only, that aren't questions

Was it for anime? Stremio with an anime plugin works decent, but you do gotta pay for realdebrid for it to be fast.

"Unreviewed content" just seems like a lame excuse to force people to use the app.

Like mastadon, peertube, akomma, etc. and having them run off one server?

I've found Yunohost, runtipi, caprover, and portainer (if using docker?) as potential options. They at least support one or two fediverse apps. Has anyone had any luck with them? I just got used to the idea of using a vps hypervisor/panel to manage multiple servers or having multiple sites on one server and was wondering if there was something like that for the fediverse side.

Randomly in the middle of episodes, some if the ads just wont be deleted, will get like 3 ads in a row before its back to the show, I can ofc skip but when multitasking its a bit jarring to get ads on pirated content. Conspiracy theorist in me thinks they get paid off or avoid getting sued by keeping these ads. Just feels oddly lazy to miss some ads consistently like for amazon pharmacy when I've never seen this issue before.

Thinking of hosting one for myself and was wondering what the downsides of each are. Do they all interact fine with each other? Can I log into mastadon apps with misskey/pleroma accounts? Is it like lemmy where the app specifically needs to support mbin (interstellar) to use that account?

Which one requires the least resources? I'm on ios so I'll likely gravitate towards whichever one works best with ios apps. I do see that sora sns seems to support all of them + bluesky.

I thought they was supposed to be similar but I don't see microblogs in piefed? Is Piefed closer to lemmy?

The idea is cool with all the apps interconnecting, but where do I go to actually see this in practice. Does the cross communication only work on platforms like Mbin/piefed, or am I not seeing something.

I keep hearing thanks to activity pub posts here can be seen and replied to from elsewhere, but I haven't seen it.

Can I rent an 8 core 16gb vps and then put friendica, mbin, mastodon, and lemmy on it? Can I somehow use the same site to login to all of them or would it be like m.site, l.site, etc.

I use a hypervisor? enhance.com rnow to control my wordpress sites, can I still monitor/backup the servers with enhance while manually setting up fediverse instances? I could setup roles like nginx, mariadb, through it and when I do that it lets me easily setup, backup, and migrate websites to different servers I lose this functionality if I dont set up those roles through the panel. So I was wondering if I can set up those roles and then just setup the websites manually through ssh following the guides. Do they all use nginx other than friendica?

Interested in friendica, mbin, lemmy, mastodon, and peertube (going to rent another server and more storage eventually if I do that

Honestly, the last person I expected, maybe I just haven't watched a lot of shows with twists lately

Someone mentioned it in a comment and I genuinely didn't know what I was setting up, but its basically airdrop but to all your devices/servers so if you have an iphone like me you can goto any photo/file click share, taildrop, then pick the device, its a prettty fast transfer. It shows up in the downloads folder on my pc by default.

I no longer have to upload to icloud files to grab my files, it is very convenient and seems to be free forever for personal use up to 100 devices? I had no idea what I was even setting up til I saw the guide afterwards, I thought it was for monitoring server health, but it's made sharing files between devices/servers very convenient. (this was likely obvious, just wanted to share with others who didn't know)

Are they all gathered in one place somewhere or does it all need to be found case by case? Intrested in hosting a mastadon, pixelfed, and peertube instance. What are the vps requiremnts? I do like the idea of hosting all my own posts/comments, etc.
