As an alternative, we have found bulbs that can run tasmota with the MQTT integration to be perhaps the most reliable part of our smart home (as long as the hardware already had a descent CRI). I've heard good things about ESP home too, but we have not tried it.

If someone has some light bulbs that are laggy (due to cloud integrations) or a pain to use due to software, its worth checking out of tasmota or esp home can be installed on them to locally pair with something like home assistant. It turned a regretful purchase into a nice addition.

With that said, we don't buy connected devices any longer without checking internet and cloud requirements first.

It does actually, but against an invading army. There are reports of Russian fighters having trouble executing orders because the "enemy" also spoke Russian in some instances of the Ukraine/Russia war.

When there is a common language, the people sent to fight might notice there is more in common between them and the people on the other side than with the people in power that sent them there to die if needed.

Artwork looks amazing, seems a lot of Polish went into it.

I think there was some mention of poisoning the AI crawlers or at least confusing them/requiring special handling as a possible side effect, so I stopped caring, but yes it can be somewhat of an annoyance until you remember that its basically just a contraction.

Just replying to agree to everything. You will also not believe just how fast home assistant feels running on an n100 compared to a RPI 4. Can't speak of the RPI 5 wince I don't have one, but unless you plan to interface with hardware, a used thin client mini PC just can't be beat with the 5 being so expensive for this use case.

Speaking of SNES, I enjoyed the top gear soundtracks. They were like eurobeat on a race before eurobeat, powerful yet soothing: https://youtu.be/sqF1nOdV7bY

P.S.: you might be missing some of the benefits stereo can provide: https://youtu.be/nGeyVf5kkjI

Mick Gordon... Hopefully he didn't get screwed on that one like he did with Doom. It is a wonderful soundtrack.
