I think Friendica tried to fit the "like a glove" bill, but Diaspora network looks pretty cool.

They had a freeform for why we're satisfied, but nothing about why we're dissatisfied. A bit disappointing.

Some laws in some regions define adults as 19, not 18. I guess they just blanketed everyone under one age limit (I'm assuming [so they could] ~~to~~ hide your location from the survey).

It can matter to the end user. I had to spoof my user agent, because I was using a beta version of Firefox, and cloudflare thought I was a bot. Sites still don't load sometimes at work (just keeps cycling through the "checking to make sure you're a human" bullshit), regardless of browser. It's a single point of failure for much of the web. Not that long ago (last year, I think), cloudflare had some bad config files pushed to prod, and about half the web broke. Cloudflare can arbitrarily block (and has done so) websites, since they're serving the content. In theory, cf is a great service. In practice, they've abused it enough that we really shouldn't trust them again.

Well. Didn't know that existed. Thanks!

I've had the aeropress since the month they came out, and I absolutely love it.

It is a difficult topic, but one worth discussing I think. Cellphone security used to be an afterthought, at best. Google (and some rom maintainers) have done an amazing job at improving overall security. They have a long way still to go (such as forcing manufacturers to a certain level support), but what they've done thus far is commendable.

But if the manufacturers don't then update their custom bits, the updates don't make it to the phones. Right? Or is that not a thing anymore?

Is it that high? Not even joking. I was always under the impression that it was much lower, and that many of those that are still receiving updates won't update (old habits from when updating android could brick your device).

So, there's not one thing in those pictures that I'm not absolutely diggin. Obviously, the keeb, but I mean everything else, from the candle (mug?) to the mat to the green dudes and on. That whole setup is just spectacular!
