I’m going to wager that’s low on Mike Johnson’s list.
I feel like this lands pretty soft given the news that Trump and the Republicans asked for, and got, yet turned down, the best border deal they could ever hope for.
Moderate Democrats are Republican-lite.

It's Monica De La Cruz' bill. In 2022, she and Michelle Vallejo were up for the same seat.
Vallejo is a progressive, so the party cut her funding because they would rather have a MAGA chud in any given seat instead of the nightmare scenario of someone who might vote to raise the minimum wage.
This is everything the Democratic Party wanted.
