Eating inferior substitutes because sky daddy wants all the bacon for himself.

Aside from religion, it's objectively better.

Aside from personal preferences, no, it’s not.

That's "PRŠUT" not bacon you blind fuck's.

Edit: I'm croatian and what we usually translate as bacon we usually call "slanina", while we call "pršut" usually what's in the pic.

Is it good? I've wanted to try beef bacon for years, but never have been able to find it. I plan on going veg next month when the food stamps roll in, so I don't know if I'm ever going to get the chance D:

"Pršut" is one of my favourite food. We mostly eat it smoked. But beware, it's salty af so you either eat bread with it or keep 4 liters of water close by.

I'll keep that in mind if I get to try it!

Can't say I've ever tried anything that was anywhere close to regular bacon. I'm surprised some of the "vegan bacon" can even be called that.

Vegan bacon is, at best, a fair attempt at making food.

It's just not the same without the animal suffering and the pig cannibalism.

The dead animal or the dead animal, doesn't make the slightest difference in my book.

What you do is pick up a slab of pork belly and cut your own bacon from it

1 cm³ bacon cubes are the way to go for casseroles

Nobody cares that you're limiting your food choices for no reason. Literally nobody.
