In being subjected to both church and uneducational classes at school I am left with time to hypothetically do things, yet many activities are precluded. As a human being I have finite time yet vast options which I would like to pursue. I consider these frequent instances as complete wastes of time. Yet I remember the stoic teaching about focusing on what you can control. I am prohibited from having my phone (too obviously) or anything in/covering my ears. I would like to read, but the voices are distracting. My rubik's cube is considered too loud. Meditation is also impossible. Any advice/suggestions?

If you’re using a computer in class you could look up theory or educational content such as news from an anti-imperialist perspective.

True, I tend to play games or read comics. I'd like to go on lemmygrad, but I can't do that too much on my phone, and the school's wifi blocks it.

You could prepare content in advance from annas-archive.org into some cloud storage (Google drive, whatever) , and access it from the computer you got access to?

At least you're choosing what to study at that time. Also, saving stuff from marxists.org, and taking notes on them?

I do try to read in those times, it just can be too hard to focus.

I guess meditation is going to be an useful exercise for you. To learn how to control focus and attention, despite of the noise around you... Helps with the reading, too. :)

Maybe, I just don’t do it enough. I’m a procrastinator.

I just daydream. It's likely a bad advice for a variety of reasons, but I find it one of the only options when visual or audial input (books, music) is off the table

When I think too much I either get caught in cycles or want to write stuff down. idk whether that's the best option available.

Knit. Actually a studied phenomenon that’s helps adhd people focus while they need to pay close attention. Psychiatrists will write letters permitting people do it t work or school to help manage symptoms.

Listen intently. Everything someone says that has anything at all to do with politics and ideology can give you insight into how to educate/radicalize that group of people, while recognizing that only a few will be open to your ideas.

True, that is a good thing to do. I’ve “scouted out” a few comrades, but in general am largely surrounded by apathetic petty bourgeoisie.
