Chabelo was doing the "old man pretending to be a little boy" till his death. Dude was like 90 and doing a little boy voice in public all the time

ROFL! For anyone that hasn’t seen El Chavo, you need to at least check out a few clips on YouTube. https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0229889/

Pero cuándo no!? Tenía que ser El Chavo!

Discúlpame, no soy hispanohablante nativo. No entiendo la significa de "Pero cuándo no". Para mi, eso parece "But when not?". Quiero creer es como "isn't is always?" pero yo no visto antes.

It's a running catchphrase in the show. It can be translated as "but of course! It had to be el Chavo!" So yes you are spot on, it's like saying "isn't it always" though it feels awkward as a direct translation.

I just was really not expecting to see this old TV show as a meme making reference to Stranger Things. I laughed more than I should.

I learned about this show learning Spanish. It certainly is quite weird. It's a Mexican show, and yes the characters are meant to be children lmao

Can we have a reboot using this Cast?
