No Kings. No Demands. What Happened?

On March 28, 2026—two months after Trump’s gestapo forces murdered Alex Pretti and Renée Good—nearly 9 million people took to the streets to declare “No Kings” for the third time. The progressive organization behind the protest, Indivisible, declared it the largest single-day demonstration in American history.

The Indivisible Guide taught constituents to hold onto the microphone at town halls until they got an answer, and explained exactly how to get a staffer to go off-script during a phone call. It urged Americans to disrupt congressmembers’ ribbon-cutting ceremonies (“Don’t let them get photo-ops without questions about racism, authoritarianism, and corruption”), and to “barrage” them with demands until they answered.

Today, the group’s website explicitly writes that one of their core principles is “no civil disobedience.”

Started by democratic frustrated democratic staffers. Smothered by leadership wanting to be democratic staffers.

Imagine being such a lib that whitewashed MLK tactics are too spicy for you.

And allegedly the leadership is still the same duo that posted the tactics book that started indivisible so idk what sort of transformation they went through. Maybe Nancy Pelosi actually started to those two directly and they got re-enfranchised.

Impeachment? Striking only the hottest, most smoldering irons I see.

I am sure it will happen this time if you wish for it hard enough, libs. You gotta get one win on the board eventually, right? ...right? After decades upon decades, surely this is the time!

You mean holding a protest with no demands or call to action resulted in no demands being met or no action being taken? shocked-pikachu

I honestly expect that will be the catalyst to real radicalization for a handful of rad libs

Especially there's a genuine blue wave, followed by a lame duck Trump who continues to simply do whatever he wants without consequences. A lot of them will probably just deactivate when they start thinking about how useless their weekly protest meetup really was, but some of them might actually learn some lessons.
