  • I just bought Red Dead Redemption 2 last night and it was the only one they had in stock. It's already an 8 year old game, but it's new to me!

Me: Haha, 20 year old games, huh? Like Super Mario Bros. and Megaman, right?

Them: Zelda Twilight Princess came out in 2006.

Quake 1 is still rocking servers and multiplayer games are still being had, 30 years later.

It's still a great multiplayer gaming experience. back when games were made properly; with the sacrificial sweat of a demon's nutsack.

Feels weird to call it retro but I’ve been having a blast with Morrowind lately. 24 years old, so fits with the meme.

I will never forget going to the store in the mall and having Neverwinter nights in one hand, Morrowind in the other and the clerk waking up to ten year old me and saying "wow, great taste." offhandedly. I bought Morrowind that day and had never been so completely lost in a game. I ran around getting killed by everything for weeks!

20 years old because you finished all the NES, Super NES, and MegaDrive games already?

I pretty much only play grey Gameboy Tetris these days. I keep wondering why they kept making games after this masterpiece.

My backlog is long enough to last me 20 years on it's own.

On top of old games I only just find out about and add to the pile. Still a few indie games I'm looking forward too but it isn't going to kill my next year of gaming if one turns out to be a flop.

In many cases (not all) older music is better, too.

Were games even around 20 years ago? That seems like too much time not to be fake

    Mario Party DS lol.

Actually, basically the entire DS and PSP library is approaching that age.
