I have only one response to this degree of arrogant stupidity:

I'm not a psychiatrist, but I can tell you the condition Nick suffers from. He's a cunt. That's what's wrong with him.

I saw some talking heads deliver a verdict that the boycott is doing way more damage to america than the trump tariff's are supposedly helping. Way to go donnie, you genius you. C'mon, open that big dumb mouth and spew more. It seems to be uniting Canada more than anyone has ever been united before. Many people are saying this with tears of laughter in their eyes.

I was getting right off Canada, truth be told, especially when Unka Steve was PresidentPrime Minister. Like "looking to see how to get German citizenship" levels of off.

Between "Elbows Up" and the governments of Canada poking the USA with sharp sticks, however, my vestigial patriotism has started to regrow.

I am going to continue to steal from US companies by boycotting travel and anything ‘made in the USA’ for at least a generation.

Maybe it's not a boycott. Maybe they just don't want to be arrested and sent to a prison in El Salvador for the horrible crime of being Canadian. WAF jerk

    "A tourism boycott represents theft."

By that logic I can sue anyone I want for not showing up at the parties I planned in my backyard, that I charge a bar fee to attend.

You've got to remember that in the capitalist's mind, all your money already belongs to them, and they highly resent it if you try to keep any of it for yourself.

It really is that. I have more in common with my rascist dad than I do billionaires, in everything including thought processes.

I see the inequality and am upset; I blame the billionaires.

He sees the inequality and is upset; but he blames the immigrants.

We do not think like them. That doesn’t mean the think ‘better’. But at least my rascist dad still thinks white people are people instead of a number. He just can’t extend that decency to ‘others’.

There it is. Not giving us your money is illegal. This is the kind of leverage business and corporations salivate over.

So when we do buy we're ripping them off, and when we don't, we're stealing. It's almost like there's no pleasing them and they just want to pick a fight.

Moving away from them looks smarter and smarter as this goes on.

Real talk: if none of this shit was happening, what possible point of interest in the U.S would actually interest a Canadian vacationer?

    • their giant iconic statue nobody believes in?
    • their garbage filled canyon?
    • their shitty cartoon mouse theme park?
    • their gambling mecca?
    • their polluted beaches?

What's so great about the U.S tourist scene?

The US has a lot of stunning nature (for now) that I would love to see.

However, the world has lots of stunning nature and there are many places to enjoy it that don’t arbitrarily hate Canada because some pedophile told them to.

I kinda liked Yellowstone when I was young. Oh, and I enjoyed Hawaii too (before the snakes landed on Kauai).

That's about it in 60 years. I really liked Canada's scenery and Europe's culture way more than anything the USA could offer across most of my life.

    their garbage filled canyon?

This kinda gives away that you don't care about nature. The US has some of the most beautiful national parks. Every time I visited them I saw that many people had traveled from around the world to see them, so it's not just my opinion. You've made a list of city things that no one should care about with one token park, all of them written in the most negative light. I won't be seeing your hate/rage filled replies.

  • Real talk: This is a silly, useless, reductive list. I wouldn't have recommended going to the statue of Liberty at any point in time. Probably one of the least interesting things in NYC which is full of interesting things worth travelling to.

Everything else you wrote is similarly focused on the negative aspects of attractions that only the most boring tourists would care about anyhow, except the Grand canyon which you're dismissing as "garbage filled". Nothing I noticed on my trip there... Not to mention that almost any garbage there was put there by tourists.

There are several excellent national parks that everyone who can make it to should see. That doesn't mean it's worth the risk doing it right now, especially for some people, but what exactly is the point in pretending the US has nothing of value? Just signaling you hate America to all the other America haters? Pretty weird this got any upvotes tbh. Imagine someone writing that BANFF is a piece of shit second rate park. 1) you'd instantly know they're lying 2) you'd think it would take a weird motivation to tell such a lie.

No, really. That's just how grandiloquent his title is.
