Russia alone produced 84,5 million tons of diesel in 2025 and consumed 46 million tons, so 1,8 million tons of diesel announced here is a drop in the ocean.

I love how he just shit in the mouth of everyone in Congress that voted to sanction Russia, and especially mocks Lindsey Graham because the bill was named in his memory.
Holy shit, America is dead and we are living in it's corpse. One of the craziest headlines in the past 150 years, Russia has been at odds on this matter for so long, and would only consider this where it has the upper hand. All the Ukrainian Nazi propaganda must be seething, they've been acting like Russia has no oil for years
cannot achieve fabled Amerikkkan-style military dominance
cannot maintain satanic stranglehold on global financial system through unilateral sanctions
All my tigers, paper. 🤣
I wonder why he made this announcement on Friday, right before the market close. Usually Trump would wait until the weekend to do things that hurt the market, like doing new strikes on Iran or announcing new tariffs.
If the diesel deal is intended to stabilize the markets, then why wouldn't he announce on a Monday? Trump signed an executive order to allow trucks to use untaxed red-dyed diesel until the end of 2026.
Why not announce the Russia oil deal on a Monday?
S-ain't-ctions
I like how,
IRAN WILL NEVER HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON!
has become his new signature
What did he have to give up for it?
seems like a lot of diesel, but doesn't RUS have its own inelastic needs. is this extra capacity they are opening up?
im too lazy/tired rn to compare global consumption rates and put this into context, even assuming its true.
Do we think there was behind the scenes wheeling and dealing on Ukraine? Or does Russia just want the cash?
please it would be the funniest thing I could use the laugh please
