I've never read the books it's based on, but this show is a lot of fun. Really enjoyed season 1.

I read the first of the books after watching the show, now it's extra silly to wonder why they thought Tom Cruise was a good fit, considering how the character is described and portrayed like in the book

The Amazon-owned streamer has ordered a third season of Reacher, two weeks before the scheduled premiere of the show’s second installment on Dec. 15.

Series lead Alan Ritchson — who will also be an executive producer on season three — made the announcement Saturday via video (see it below) at Prime Video’s panel at the CCXP convention in São Paulo, also revealing that season three has already begun production.

The early pickup isn’t much of a surprise given that Reacher’s first season is one of Prime Video’s biggest original shows to date.

It finds the title character (Ritchson) trying to uncover who is killing members of his former U.S. Army unit, the 110th MP Special Investigations.

Reacher reunites with three of his former teammates (played by Maria Sten, Serinda Swan and Shaun Sipos), who begin to connect the dots in a mystery where the stakes get higher at every turn.

Showrunner Nick Santora will executive produce season three with Child, Ritchson Don Granger, Scott Sullivan, Mick Betancourt, and Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell.
