Even I am edible, but that children is called "cannibalism".

Literally what he said. Maybe just the Johnny Depp one.

"But Oompa Loompas aren't humans, right? So they're fair game!"

The previous movies made them look like forshortened humans. The Timothee Chalamet one made them more like elves

In the original story, they were rather unfortunately depicted as looking like African pygmies. They were later made to look more inhuman so the forced labor would be okay.

Racism? In my celebrated English children's story? It's more likely than you think.

Okay, now pair a weekend hospital stay (for, I don't know, routine butthole maintenance? Express those glands) with watching the new Battlestar.

Or rather don't. It gave me hospital psychosis. The paranoia in the series bled through to real life. It was not my kind of fun.

In the original he wouldn't have been horrified cause he probably already tried one himself and he meant what he said.

    Oompa Loompas were always edible.

In fact, they were bred that way, so that you could take them on trips with you, but if you run out of food, you can just eat the Oompa Loompas.
