Finally got the upgrade to fibre after years of waiting on the 28th Nov. The installer said it was all working and then shot out the door double quick.

As soon as I tried to get a connection the issues began. I got one speed test done and the internet fell over. No connection. I tried their spare Linksys router they sent me and nothing. Just a red light on the router indicating no connection.

I then tried connecting the ONT to my Unifi USG4 using DHCP. Gigaclear allow third party routers. No MAC spoofing required.

My USG just sat there with no WAN IP for a whole day, I spoke to Gigaclear again and they did something remotely and said the IPv6 MAC filter was full(!) and they had reset it.

I got internet again for about 40 seconds and it fell over again and has been down since. They don't seem to have a clue what to do here. I'm the first person on our estate to get fibre.

I just checked now and my ONT has gone from three green lights - Power PON and 10GE to one green light on power and a red light on PON. The 10GE light is off despite being patched to their router.

Anyone had a similar experience? It's pretty poor so far for me.

Seems pretty clear that they need to fix the connection. Whether the problem is at their end of the fiber connection or your end at the ONT, there’s no way of knowing. You need to keep calling them. Insist that they send out another tech.
