TLDR: it's a spec bump for the processor and RAM. One question I personally had is does that mean the motherboard is backward compatible with the og FP6?

No Verizon support makes me sad. My truly unlimited data via their Visible subsidiary is difficult to part with due to the amount of time I spend away from home.

I'm still mad I had to pay almost $200 for the one I have now! The two phones I had before this one I think cost around $120.

The software updates are kind of hit or miss though. You usually end up on an outdated version of Android near the end and the upstream kernel goes EoL.
