I have been to Sydney twice. 1970 and 2001. Never left the airport either time, just in transit.
On behalf of Sydney, may I cordially invite you to visit and stay in the city for as long as you want* and enjoy it's many and varied things to do

There's far less outright hostility, no one has called me a Nazi, my anxiety is back down again, it's just nice🥹
I'll still visit here from time to time but given I'm subscribed to like 30 comms and have like 2 new posts a day it's not worth being here
On top of this in my tiny little worldnews comm @InEnduringGrowStrong@sh.itjust.works decided to come in and ban a member for 'racism' when there was no actual racism just a politically incorrect opinion, the admins of this place are so bored they just go around moderating random comms now looking for people to ban that offended them
If you goto Profile/Settings and get aggressive with blocking Communities, it can really help tailor things Eg I like more 'news' rather than funny stuff and memes.Here's mine:

Instead of trying to find communities you are interested in, include everything, then kick out the stuff you don't want. I always enjoy stumbling across something I had no active interest in, but randomly pops up, ane I think "Whoa, that is pretty cool!"
Also, the only way to increase the signal to noise ratio is to keep posting quality stuff. Like all my posts and comments 🤣
yeah i've got hundreds of blocks, I got tired of it, all the subs on reddit are far more active and interesting than here, it's like netflix here but without the library
