I wonder when the last day was that one could photograph the sky over a major city, and have it be completely free of jet trails? Probably either the pandemic or just after 9/11....
So weird that some concerts don't allow cameras
I’ve never been to a concert that allowed my art camera and kit, sadly.
What phone?
iPhone 17 pro max. It’s my once-every-six-years upgrade that happened back in February.
Interesting, I didn't know any phones produced raw.
I'm thinking of switching to iPhone next time around, because of the Airtag network. Android really doesn't have an equivalent...well, actually, they JUST introduced Android airtags, but I doubt that network will ever be as robust as the Apple network is. I have a bunch of camera bags and cases that I'd like to put airtags in. I like Android more, but with recent policy changes Google is making, some of the things I liked are going away, like sideloading apps...and Apple has this airtag network.
For art produced off my phone, I end up using ProShot, which is an attempt to bring a DSLR-like workflow to iOS, instead of the rather limited default camera app.

Huh, interesting, thanks. Something like that might exist for Android, but my phone is very short on space (my career changed after I bought it, and the new career requires several more apps that take up a bunch of space), so I'm avoiding downloading any new apps.
I ate many lunches on those strps to the lower right.
Saaaame. It’s surreal seeing it like this, and then afterward standing on the empty bricks.
On stage is The Beths, they’re really good and you should check them out.
My wife Beth loves The Beths, name similarity is only marginally related. We saw them in London a few years ago, was a great show, and they're an exceptional band. Also they took a break part way through to put up pictures of birds that they took and to talk about the various birds.
I'm really happy you posted this, reminded me of some really great memories ♥️
