Microsoft's last ditch effort to push people into Linux?

Enterprise LTSC isn't a version you commonly run on devices where you can just switch your OS at will.

I wouldn't put Windows into my server environment if someone paid me for the privlege. There is exactly one (Windows10) box in my house, belongs to my youngest son, and the minute it goes end of life he's moving to Fedora too.

and the minute it goes end of life he’s moving to Fedora too.

Curious to know .... why the wait?

He's autistic...doesn't like change.. So I'm prepping him for it slowly and gradually. ;-)

The IOT version of W10 will last a few more years. Maybe as a B plan of the transition needs to be pushed.

They are doubling down on their Linux marketing efforts. Gotta love these guys.

I don't get it, why are there people on Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021?

If you were going to do that why not choose Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021?
