In all my years this might be the most dumb block list I have ever seen. A sample:

It is called the toxicity list if you weren't toxic you don't go on it I guess. Honestly IDK what the big deal is the mods and admins here love their big ban lists why is this particular one getting so much attention?

Just seems like someone went a slight bit further than everyone else and somehow this is the worst possible thing ever it just doesn't make sense.
It is not the worst possible thing but shadow banning via a client is quite ridiculous, even more so when politically motivated. I won't even get into how funny it is to have even less of a tolerance for political variety than lemmy.ml.
If you really want to circle jerk, that is what instances are for where what is tolerated and what is not is much more transparent.
Having that many comments and avoiding the list be like:
I'm on the list! I have so many people to thank, first trump, then god, then RFK jr's brain worm.
