This happened a few months ago at work and it was both embarrassing and funny at the same time. A new woman started working at my job the previous week. We had said hi to each other a few times, but never actually talked before. So one day a few of us were in the office and she asked out loud, "Does anybody have a pen?"

I instantly said, "I do!" I took a few steps toward her and somehow I tripped over my own feet. As I was falling I tried to grab onto an office chair, but since it had wheels, it just rolled away. I hit the ground hard. Everybody asked me if I was OK. When said that I was, they all started laughing, and they kept laughing. I got up, gave my coworker the pen and immediately left the office. I wanted to hide for the rest of the day.

We both joke about it now and once in a while she asks me if I'm OK. Nobody will ever forget this.

TL;DR: I tried to give an coworker a pen. I ended up falling down and embarrassing myself.
