Don't laugh, but I’ve been dealing with a brutal hemorrhoid flare-up lately. I stood up from a leather chair at a buddy's place earlier and realized to my absolute horror that it bled straight through my boxers and shorts, leaving a tiny bloody spot right on the seat. I completely panicked, grabbed a napkin, and managed to wipe the chair down quickly while he was in the kitchen getting us some drinks. Luckily, my longer shirt covered my own pants on the drive home, but I am still sweating bullets just thinking about what would have happened if he walked back in.

I'm a guy, and my absolute worst fear is someone noticing a stain like that and making endless jokes that I'm having a period or something. Has any other dude had a random disaster like this happen at a friend's house? How do you even handle that sheer panic in the moment without looking totally insane?

TL;DR: Bleeding from a hemorrhoid left a spot on a buddy’s chair. Wiped it before he saw, but terrified someone will see my pants and joke that I’m having a period. Any other guys experience this panic?
