What's your question?

I would have stood up for myself way sooner, both by reporting the environment I was dealing with at home and by fighting back against the school bullies.

Keep studying film instead of falling in love

I wish i had invested in Microsoft. I'd be stinkin rich right now.

A little too young for that, but I had my first good job a year before the iPhone came out. Apple went crazy after that.

Mainly though I wish I’d moved out of the city and bought a house instead of renting for 12 years.

Apple would have been a great investment as well as a house.

Yeah, the reality is my wife graduated college right before 9/11 and the subsequent recession. Then I graduated and got my career going 3 years before the housing bubble burst. Then started my own company and got crushed by the pandemic.

We’ll be ok, but if the timing was different I think it could have been easy to retire in a few years instead of where we are now.
