My wife and I are both ADHD. We can go hours sitting in the same room not talking at all, almost immediately to a full-fledged conversation about some inane thing that happened 3 months ago.
Neither of us can ever remember what we had planned for meals though.
My wife and I can have several conversations at the same time as we each remember something we simply must say. And if we argue, our derailments generally mean that we forget what we are angry about

My husband only has autism, and this is the case still because trivia is his special interest. I don’t even need entertainment, I can literally go talk to him for 15 mins, and it’s better than any tv show.

He prefers to watch movies with me that I haven't seen before nor know anything about beforehand.
