@[email protected] responded to a meme about swarmgenders to call me a troll for being nonbinary. Out of curiosity, I tried an experiment, and asked if there are any xenogenders they respect. They responded by saying it's "over the line" of made up specialist [sic] snowflake shit.

Make no mistake: This is the average view of people who yell about how xenogender people are "trolls".

Hey it’s me!

Yea I stand by my statement, you are severely mentally ill and are using gender politics to justify your delusion. I didn’t call you a troll for being non-binary, get your victim complex bullshit out of here.

Yes you did. And you're calling me mentally ill because you think being nonbinary is a mental illness.

I'm sorry but is this a joke or are the people involved being genuine?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 9 months ago (1 children)

It's genuine. What part of this gender makes you feel that people would treat it as a joke?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 9 months ago (1 children)

For me it's the swarm part

[–] [email protected] 1 points 9 months ago (1 children)

Well, you read the webpage. You know swarms are natural, inspiring, nonbinary, and real. What's hard to swallow about that? Seems it has a great deal of similarity with binary human gender roles, in terms of the social structure of what it means to be a gender.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 9 months ago (1 children)

I don't think anyone is doubting swarms existing in nature. As a human gender though...

[–] [email protected] 1 points 9 months ago (1 children)

Okay but you haven't actually explained what's hard to believe. You've just vaguely gestured at the whole thing and expressed incredulity. Can you explain what specifically is hard to buy?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 9 months ago (1 children)

It's hard to believe it as a real human gender. Why? It just sounds ridiculous. Doesn't go much deeper than that.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 9 months ago (1 children)

Do you just find the idea of all genders other than male and female hard to believe? And if not, what's a nonbinary gender you do believe in? (Note that identities like genderfluid or bigender aren't genders themselves, they're combinations of actual genders. And agender isn't a gender either)

[–] [email protected] 2 points 9 months ago (1 children)

I don't find the idea of there being other genders hard to believe. Not sure I know others than what you mentioned.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 9 months ago (1 children)

Okay, so the idea in abstract isn't hard to swallow, but in 100% of cases when you've been told a specific xenogender, you had trouble believing it. Why do you think that is?

[–] [email protected] 2 points 9 months ago (1 children)

Seems out there compared to what I've heard before.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 9 months ago (2 children)

Isn't every single xenogender going to be out there compared to what you've heard of? You've only heard of the normal stuff. You haven't heard any of the weird stuff. This is your first time seeing just how big the world is in terms of the diversity of human experiences. You should embrace it, it's a new experience, you're a tourist in an unfamiliar realm.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 9 months ago

Nooo…. You’re making shit up. And everyone is telling you that.
