I haven't been this excited for my console to tell me the weather since the Wii.
Man I thought the Wii weather channel and stuff was so cool at the time.
Starting to seem like valve is getting more flashy mod parts than framework
So for the dot matrix, users are expected to keep a phone charger or something plugged in next to their Steam Machine? It uses more energy than can be provided by the Steam Machine's USB ports?
I doubt they'd release it like that.
Yep, at least for right now that's the deal. The Steam machine doesn't use that much power, so I could imagine a solution that includes a new power cord that can power both at the same time.
